<\/a>As a kid in Sioux City, I was more into listening to 45 Records than I was comic books, but there were a few comics I collected those being; Iron Man, Hawk Man & Aquaman. So I was fairly excited when the 2017 “Just League”\u00a0film had Aquaman in it. Then in 2018 will release the film “Aquaman” I was able to see an advance of this film recently.<\/p>\n\n
To my surprise\u00a0Joseph Momoa was (1 August 1979)\u00a0was raised and went to school in Norwalk, Iowa a mere 15 min. from Southridge Mall, where I worked at the very same time (1991- 1995), being a music fanatic & musician Momoa and his classmate, as teenagers (they graduated in 1997)\u00a0Brandon Routh\u00a0(9 October 1979 Des Moines, Iowa) “Superman\/ The Atom” surly visited the “RecordShop” I worked at in those days. How cool is that 2 DC characters\u00a0came from the\u00a0same\u00a0High School in a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa.<\/p>\n

Well the powers that be did a great job hiring such a good looking cast, Momoa for the women to dream about, & Amber Heard (22 April 1986: Austin) to me, a ringer for a 1989 version of Christina Applegate, and one of the most popular actress’ of our time, none other than Nicole\u00a0Kidman (20 June 1967: Honolulu) who deserves a humanitarian award, award as far as I am concerned.\u00a0It was cool to see Dolph Lundgren in a film again and using Julie Andrews: Voice as \u201cKarathen\u201d a nice bone to throw. The introduction of \u201cManta\u201d is a nice touch, although clearly it is to set up a \u201cPart 2\u201d hopefully next year, I will go see it for sure.<\/p>\n

The film, Momoa, his humorous\u00a0enough to satisfy the masses, the film has plenty to take in and look at (thanks to CGI) lots of color and lights & imagery, and it moves fast enough for the “Cellphone Crowd” and the obligatory \u201cLove Story\u201d. I thoroughly\u00a0enjoyed it. Sorry folks, I only do facts & preferences NO spoilers. But like I always\u00a0say “Go see it and decide for yourself, you may not like what I enjoy”<\/p>\n
